Hofstra’s Public Health Alumni Association (PHAA) professional development series

This past summer, Hofstra’s Public Health Alumni Association (PHAA) organized a 3-part professional development series where public health professionals from different sectors were interviewed about their career trajectories, professional highlights and guidance on career advancement.  

Recordings of these virtual events can be found in the links below: Part 1, June 17, 2021, Dr. Josh Moskovitz, a public health emergency physician and adjunct Hofstra MPH faculty member; Part 2, July 9, 2021, Dr. Johanna Adlam, an MPH alumna who recently completed a doctorate in health equity and is working as a researcher; and Part 3, August 12, 2021 with Dr. Carolyn McCummings, Commissioner of Nassau County’s Department of Human Services and adjunct Community Health faculty member.
